As a Site Supervisor at MTM Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and delivering the cable installation package for large-scale development projects. You will lead a team on-site, ensuring projects are executed to the highest standards. We have extensive experience in industries such as Data Centres and Pharmaceuticals, across Europe, the UK, and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Lead and Deliver: Oversee the high-quality delivery of MV/LV installation packages, ensuring client satisfaction
• Team Leadership: Delegate tasks, mentor, and engage crew members to achieve project goals efficiently
• Project Management: Manage tight deadlines and high-pressure situations, including supervising cable pulling and setting up cable routes
• Safety First: Promote a culture of safety, ensuring all team members adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Quality Assurance: Maintain and uphold the highest quality standards on-site
• Time & Attendance: Manage team time and attendance, conducting return-to-work interviews and resolving any site issues promptly
• Conflict Resolution: Address any on-site conflicts or miscommunications effectively, ensuring a smooth project flow
• Performance Management: Lead by example, offering coaching and feedback to improve individual and team performance
• Employee Development: Provide continuous learning and upskilling opportunities for team members
• Company Policy Compliance: Ensure the team follows company policies and operational procedures
• Other Duties: Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Experienced Leader: At least 5 years of experience managing site teams and projects, ideally in electrical cable installation
• Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in Data Centres is desirable but not essential
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in written and oral English (minimum level C2).
• Work Eligibility: Must have the legal right to work and reside in the UK without restrictions
• Self-Motivated: A proactive individual who can handle challenges and tackle tasks head-on
• Strong Communicator: Capable of leading teams and engaging effectively with all stakeholders
• Health & Safety Champion: A deep understanding and commitment to adhering to health and safety guidelines
