Assistant Accountant
Our client is currently looking to recruit for an Assistant Accountant to join their team. This role will be an initial 12-month fixed term contract with the possibility of being extended. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join a leading employer of choice in the local area and be part of a busy finance team.
Main Responsibilities:
· Preparation of month end and year end accounts
· Monthly bank reconciliations
· Preparing financial reports
· Completing supplier statement reconciliations
· Identify invoices that need processes in line with credit terms
· Matching of purchase orders to supplier invoices
· Prepare invoices for payment
· Completion of daily bank balance reports
· Other relevant duties
The successful candidate must have:
· Minimum of 3 (+) years working within accounts and finance
· Experience in working with accounts packages Sage, Quickbooks etc
· Previous experience in managing / supervising a team
· Excellent communication skills
· Multi-tasking and organisational skills
· Strong analytical ability
The successful candidate will receive:
· Full-time permanent role
