K Fresh – A Pullet Rearing, Egg Producing & Packing company are looking for someone to join their poultry team!

Part time position (3-5 days per week) Some flexibility with working hours possible

This is a hands on role which requires self motivation, a good work ethic, attention to detail & professionalism

Duties & Responsibilities

*Helping existing full time staff members with their daily routines

* Day to day welfare inspections & record keeping (daily checks & paperwork)

* Laying House supervision (controlling the egg collection systems & daily egg collection)

* Site hygiene & maintenance (Daily/Weekly cleaning shedules & maintenence of equipment)

The role involves working at a modern Free Range Egg Laying Unit. The successful candidate must be able to work independently at times but also as part of a bigger team during busy periods. Good communication skills & organisation is also important. Previous experience preferable but not essential – someone with a desire to work with poultry is more crucial

Job Types: Part Time, Permanent (24-40 hours, 3-5 days per week)

Salary: £12.50 per hour

• Develop and implement training programmes tailored to individual dogs and their owners.
• Conduct group training sessions and private lessons, focusing on obedience, behaviour modification, and socialisation.
• Assess each dog’s temperament and behaviour to create personalised training plans.
• Provide guidance and support to pet owners on effective training techniques and responsible pet ownership.
• Maintain accurate records of each dog’s progress and communicate updates to owners.
• Ensure a safe training environment by adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with veterinary professionals when necessary to address behavioural issues related to health concerns.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of veterinary practices and animal care principles.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Experience in heavy lifting, as some training equipment may require physical strength.
• A genuine passion for animal welfare and a commitment to ongoing professional development in dog training methodologies.

Pay: Based on experience, skill set, knowledge of canine behaviour, and qualifications.
