<p><b>Pound Cashier and Enforcement Officer</b></p>
<p>NSL, part of Marston Holdings, is a leading provider of outsourced business services to both public and private sectors, including parking and street management solutions. We are now looking for a combined <b>Pound Cashier and Enforcement Officer</b> to join our team at the DVLA Plymouth site.</p>
<p>As a <b>Pound Cashier and Enforcement Officer</b>, you will primarily focus on cashier duties, ensuring smooth financial transactions and administration within the DVLA Pound. In addition, you will also perform enforcement duties when required. This dual role is integral to the operation of the Pound and will require you to balance customer service with administrative and enforcement responsibilities.</p>
<p><b>What you will be doing:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Act as the first point of contact for members of the public needing assistance with vehicle releases.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Process payments for clamped and removed vehicles accurately, entering transaction details into the system.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Manage cash and reconcile payments, maintaining accurate records in line with company policy.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Assist with administrative tasks, including daily logs, paperwork processing, and filing documentation correctly.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Ensure all cash handling and reconciliation procedures are followed to maintain the financial integrity of the operation.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Work closely with the Pound Manager to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with operational standards.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p><b>Enforcement Duties:</b> Operate the ANPR vehicle to locate untaxed vehicles and take enforcement action (clamping/removal) in compliance with DVLA regulations.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Engage with vehicle owners when enforcement actions are required, explaining processes clearly and professionally.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Manage enforcement paperwork, including ticketing and photographic evidence.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Perform enforcement duties as needed, on a rotational or as-required basis, ensuring compliance with regulations and documentation standards.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Provide excellent customer service, assisting customers with any queries related to vehicle clamping, removal, or payments.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Address customer complaints or concerns in a calm and efficient manner, ensuring they feel supported and respected throughout the process.</p>
</li>

<p><b>What you&#8217;ll need:</b></p>

<p>GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent).</p>
</li>

<p>Numeracy and literacy skills with a keen attention to detail.</p>

<p>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</p>

<p>Experience in conflict resolution and avoidance.</p>
</li>

<p>Ability to remain calm under pressure, particularly in enforcement situations.</p>

Within this role you will be patrolling public streets and car parks, advising the public of where they can park safely and securely, issuing tickets to incorrectly parked vehicles, reporting suspected abandoned vehicles, and dealing with enquiries from the members of the public.</p>

An important part of this role is the enforcement of litter provisions by issuing Fixed Penalty Notices to those committing offences such as littering from vehicles and reporting any other environmental issues.<br />

<p>We have an exciting opportunity for a <b>Finance Systems Assistant</b> to join our team in Oldham!</p>
<p><b>About the Role:</b></p>
<p>The role reports to the Finance Systems Manager and will work with other team members, primarily focusing on the day-to-day maintenance and support of D365 F&amp;O, TM1, and daily system integrations. Additionally, the role will lead the systems support responsibility for the Accounts Payable (AP) Team, ensuring smooth operations and addressing any system-related issues. The role will also be involved in the ongoing transformation project, offering both ideas and support with testing and implementation of agreed system developments. This position offers a great opportunity for someone wanting to develop their career in the finance systems space.</p>
<p><b>What we are looking for:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Proven experience with finance systems (experience with D365 and/or TM1 is highly essential).</li>
<li>Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.</li>
<li>Proven experience with D365 Finance System Administration, including user and security management, period control, chart of account maintenance, daily integration monitoring, ownership and configuration of D365 F&amp;O workflows, and expertise in D365 Procurement and Accounts Payable processes.</li>
<li>SME knowledge of procurement/AP Invoicing processes</li>
<li>Proactive and resourceful, with a strong aptitude for problem-solving and creative solutions.</li>
<li>Solid understanding of data integrity, with a keen awareness of confidentiality and sensitivity requirements.</li>
<li>Comprehensive knowledge of finance processes and transactions, including Treasury, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).</li>
<li>Confident and professional, with the ability to challenge requests constructively when necessary.</li>
