Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation and food service, ensuring that every dish meets our standards for taste and presentation.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety practices
Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning and maintenance tasks

Experience

Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role within the restaurant or food industry is preferred
Knowledge of food handling, safety practices, and kitchen equipment operation
Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and culinary skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a busy kitchen environment
