										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the postholder will lead the operational finance and procurement functions, ensuring the effective use of allocated resources and delivering value for money. The role involves working closely with Executives, senior clinicians, and managers to support the delivery of high-quality patient services.</p>
<p>To lead the day-to-day finance and procurement functions ensuring staffing resources are deployed to meet Trust priorities.</p>
<p>To lead the development of the financial strategy, procurement strategy and annual plans to support the achievement of the Trust’s objectives.</p>
<p>Ensure accurate and timely completion of all financial returns for the Trust and other stakeholders.</p>
<p>Work with Directors and Assistant Directors to ensure financial targets are met, and use of resources are routinely challenged to ensure value for money.</p>
<p>To provide expert financial advice in the development of business cases / efficiency schemes.</p>
<p>Work with partners to develop system financial plans, system monitoring mechanisms, and to lead finance input into specified system workstreams.</p>
<p>To provide expert financial and procurement advice in the development of major capital business cases, revenue business cases and efficiency schemes.</p>
<p>Act as an advocate for ensuring economy, efficiency and effectiveness in the use of all trust resources.</p>
<p>Ensure strong financial governance processes are in place across the Trust.</p>
<p>To be a member of the Senior Leadership Team and an attendee at relevant board and committee meetings and other events as required.</p>
<p>To deputise for the Chief Financial Officer at both internal and external meetings.</p>

<p>The multi-disciplinary team consists of Lead Mental Health Nurses, Senior Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Therapists, Consultant Psychiatrists, Mental Health Practitioners, Peer Support Workers, Community Support Workers, Youth &#038; Community Worker and Team Administrators.</p>
<p>The team works together to achieve the best outcome for the person and their family/social network using evidence-based interventions.</p>
<p>The team Derbyshire Early Intervention in Psychosis Service work with people aged 14-64 years old.</p>
<p>The team have a ‘family first’ and biopsychosocial approach to providing care to an individual whilst in our service.</p>
<p>We support people into education, training, volunteering, and employment, accessing social groups/activities and support their physical health outcomes too in order to provide holistic care to the person receiving the service.</p>

<p>Fortuneswell ward is a 20 bed in-patient ward specialising in the care of adults with cancer and haematological disease. The ward commonly manages patients who are admitted with acute problems relating to their cancer or its treatment and also palliative patients with complex symptom issues.</p>
<p>We are looking for a Band 5 Registered Nurse who is motivated and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in caring for patients with cancer and to support the Nursing team on the ward.</p>
<p>You should have an interest in oncology and/or haemato-oncology. You must be able to work shifts and be flexible to meet the needs of the service. You must possess excellent communication skills and will ideally be competent at venepuncture and cannulation but not essential. Qualifications and experience in administering chemotherapy would be advantageous to the applicant but are NOT required for this role, we are looking for good medical nurses who are keen and willing to train.</p>
<p>This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to develop their nursing career in oncology/haematology with training available in post.</p>
<p>There may be opportunity to embark on a rotational post that would include the chemotherapy outpatient unit and time spent with the acute oncology team. This can be discussed further at the interview stage.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>One Dorset Pathology (ODP) are seeking an exceptional individual to join our senior leadership team. Your role will be overall management and strategic development of our NHS microbiology laboratory service throughout the county of Dorset.</p>
<p>The service is currently provided out of three laboratories; one based at Dorset County Hospital and one at each of the University Hospitals Dorset sites (Poole Hospital and the Royal Bournemouth Hospital).</p>
<p>A transformation programme is currently underway to consolidate the Poole and Royal Bournemouth Hospital laboratories at our recently commissioned, state-of-the-art, ODP hub on the Bournemouth site. This program is expected to be completed during January 2025.</p>
<p>We provide a full bacteriology and virology diagnostic service for primary and secondary care and invite HCPC registered candidates with suitable laboratory management and microbiology specific expertise to apply.</p>
<p>Strong candidates will bring a broad set of honed leadership skills and a proven track record of leading change. You will be highly motivated and capable of delivering the ODP vision in a dynamic environment, spanning two individual NHS trusts.</p>
