<p>1 x 22.5 Hours per week in Flintshire.</p>
<p>1 Day will be Saturday with the other two to be agreed.</p>

<p>To provide support to men, women and children living in refuge accommodation who have experienced domestic abuse</p>

<p><b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b></p>
<p>The post holder will be expected to:</p>
<p>&middot; Work based at refuge accommodation across Denbighshire.</p>
<p>&middot; Respond to the needs of men, women and children who have suffered domestic abuse by providing appropriate help and support to enable them to make decisions about their lives.</p>
<p>&middot; Offer information on all relevant topics- safety, housing, benefits and legal options.</p>
<p>&middot; Inform residents of their rights and give the support needed to obtain them.</p>
<p>&middot; Keep accurate records on admissions and referrals and any other information necessary.</p>
<p>&middot; Evidence the ability to provide appropriate support whilst encouraging independence.</p>
<p>&middot; Record the daily activities on DASU online monitoring system.</p>
<p>&middot; Work to Supporting People framework and guidelines.</p>
<p>&middot; Encourage and support individuals to follow the agreed actions on support plans.</p>
<p>&middot; Receive regular line management from the Refuge team leader and participate in individual supervision. The post holder will keep line management informed of urgent issues arising during the course of work that require intervention (e.g. child protection issues / changes in risk). The post holder will be expected to undertake on-going training as part of continuing professional development.</p>
<p>&middot; Strengthen DASU&rsquo;s position as a leading specialised domestic abuse service within North Wales by consolidating and improving community links and relationships with other statutory and voluntary agencies.</p>
<p>&middot; Have a flexible approach and be willing to support clients outside of normal working hours where necessary and strictly in line with DASU lone working policy.</p>
<p>&middot; Take part in DASU &lsquo;on call&rsquo; service on a rota basis and take annual leave entitlement with care to ensure that the project has adequate cover in place.</p>
<p>&middot; Accept a role that requires intense emotional labour; it is essential that the post holder actions good personal boundaries and the ability to maintain a clear sense of client &ndash;centred objectivity.</p>
<p>&middot; Maintain a robust awareness of the changing nature of risk within a domestic abuse setting, using appropriate and agreed information sharing protocols to manage any changes effectively and safely. The post holder must be an excellent communicator, able to meet people at their stage in the processes of change and be able to motivate people to make positive changes with sensitivity and acute awareness of individuality.</p>

Stella Maris operates on a 24-7 basis (split between day and night support teams), it is a low threshold service working with people who have a long history of street drinking and homelessness, some of whom do not wish to cease drinking. The project delivers services based on the principles of harm reduction. The project provides in-house catering for all residents.</p>
<p><b>Your new role</b><br />
You will be a member of a multi-disciplined team using holistic approaches to support Depaul service users. Working to a housing-led, low threshold, harm reduction approach, where service users receive a high degree of support and advice. Depaul has a commitment to service user participation and to empowering our service users to manage their own lives.</p>
<p>The aim of the role is to support and signpost service users into services that will improve their housing, health and wellbeing while improving the service users quality of life. This is achieved through the provision of engagement and individualised support plans, targeted interventions, signposting and group work. You will work proactively form strong relationships and gain service users&#8217; trust, striving to provide the best possible service levels at all times.</p>

Service user focus</b></p>

<p>The Diocesan Secretary (DS) is looking for an experienced PA to support them in their day-to-day work</p>
<p>The successful candidate will play a key role in the smooth running of the Diocese by:</p>
<ul>
<li>Managing the DS&rsquo;s diary, including arranging ad-hoc and regular meetings, e.g. committees, staff meetings etc.&#8239;</li>
<li>Handling and responding to correspondence on behalf of the DS, including phone calls, emails and letters, using discretion and judgement.&#8239;</li>

<li>Assisting with planning conferences and other events&#8239;</li>

<p>Perfect Peace is a national Church of England project, developed by the Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich, working with families in church-based toddler groups, primarily in estate communities. Our mission is to develop mental health-focused, faith-based sessions for parents, carers, and toddlers, supporting them in relaxation, reflection and reconnection. The project will be piloted in Ipswich from January 2025. It will then be developed across the Diocese and then across the UK within the next two years.&#8239;</p>
<p>The Diocese is looking for a Project Administrator who will provide essential administrative and financial support to the National Director and ensure the smooth running of the Perfect Peace project. This role is vital to supporting the growth and functioning of the project, assisting with communications, record-keeping and supporting our work with local toddler groups.&#8239;</p>
<p>The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact for all enquiries via email and other communication platforms, maintain and update project records and manage associated financial administration and reporting. <p>The purpose of this role is to drive and lead the provision of structured learning and development opportunities for lay and ordained ministers through our online learning and support platform and Moodle provision, Insight, in line with the strategic priorities of the Diocese and the needs of parishes and their ministers. Fundamentally, it is about training people to become Priests and Lay Readers and helping our existing Priests and Lay Readers to develop their skills further to become better at what they do.</p>
<p>We are looking for someone who is excited by the work of mission and is motivated to help facilitate growth in the church. You will have experience and proven success in a training and development context, ideally in theological education or continuing ministerial development, with the use of flipped classroom techniques and populating online platforms such as Moodle. You will also have the interpersonal and organisational skills to build relationships and work in teams, develop and deliver high quality development programmes, and show the value of investment in learning and development as an enabler of mission and church growth.</p>
<p>Reporting to the Director of Mission and Ministry, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving, developing and monitoring the effectiveness of our vocational learning and training platform, Insight, and act as an internal Champion in terms of promoting the platform to clergy, licensed lay ministers and laity across the Diocese.</p>
<p>As an active member of the Mission &amp; Ministry leadership team, and in conjunction with key external stakeholders, they will also create, populate and maintain the resources on Insight along with the administrator, to ensure clarity and consistency, conduct regular analysis and evaluation of content and user activity and feedback. They will also be responsible for developing new content and support existing discipleship pathways and maintaining links with national resources for use across the Diocese.</p>
<p>In accordance with the equality act 2010 it is an occupational requirement that the post holder is a practicing Christian as the post holder will be required to represent the Christian religion in relation to the mission of the project.</p>
