We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in handling materials efficiently. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to load and unload/load. Manage inventory.

Responsibilities
– Operate a forklift to move materials within the Yard premises
– Load and unload goods from trucks or containers

– Complete check sheets/ report faults
– Wash containers

Qualifications
– Previous experience as a Forklift Operator
– Proficiency in materials handling, including heavy lifting
– Familiarity with yard operations and procedures
– Basic maths skills for inventory management
– Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
– Strong understanding of health and safety regulations

Hours: Monday to Friday 7:00am – 17:00pm and every third Saturday 7:00am – 13:00pm

Holiday Allowance: 30 days pro-rata. Increasing one day per year to maximum of 5 years, given 35 days

Pay: £12.00-£13.00 per hour

Job Title: HGV Mechanic

Working Hours: Mon-Fri 7am-5pm

Holiday Allowance: 30 days pro rata increasing 1 days a year to 35 days after 5 years’ service

Rate of Pay: Dependant on experience

THE ROLE: We are currently recruiting for an HGV Mechanic. You will work as part of a team of Mechanics to undertake routine servicing and repair work of our vehicles which Includes Tractor unit, Tanker and trailers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Routine servicing of HGV & Trailer Services & VSI & Plant Machinery
• Maintenance and repair work of HGV & Heavy Plant Machinery
• Attendance to breakdowns on site or locally due to the specialist nature of this role it is essential that you have experience of working with HGV & Trailer. The ideal candidate will be reliable and able to work under their own initiative. You will have excellent communication skills to confidently liaise with the machine operators/drivers on site to identify problems and then use your previous experience and knowledge to repair the machinery.
