Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician
Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a GPhC registered Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (or Pharmacy Technician to train to ACT level) to join our friendly independent pharmacy in Sherburn Village near Durham due to an increasing workload and rising demand for clinical services.
The role:
Your main responsibilities will be to assist the Pharmacist in efficiently managing the day-to-day running of the dispensary. This will include accuracy checking dispensed repeat prescriptions and MDS prescriptions, dispensing stock management, resolving surgery queries and ensuring compliance with GPhC standards, allowing the Pharmacist-owner time to deliver clinical services such as Pharmacy First.
We would like an experienced and motivated team-player who will use their knowledge and expertise to help the Pharmacist upskill and develop our team. You’ll provide first-class support and advice to our customers and will ensure our store, counter and dispensary run smoothly and efficiently.
This role is Monday to Friday and ideally full-time. However please get in touch with your availability if you require less hours. An excellent salary of between £33k to £35k per annum is on offer depending on ACT experience.
