Administration and Dispatch Assistant
Job Description
Job purpose:
To be the main point of contact for customers with sales requirements. To provide excellent service to existing and new customers. • Sending quotations and invoices. • Dispatching of orders in the correct timeframe. • Booking accommodation and travel for event staff. • Sending event details for staff.
Duties and responsibilities:
Actively support customer enquiries through inward and outbound calls and responding to email enquiries daily. • Dispatching of orders for sales and hires of academic dress. • Maintaining excellent working relationships with existing customers. • Dealing with large account customers to ensure that regular communications are sent to offer incentives and gains sales. • Maintain website to ensure stock levels, products and pricing are always correct and competitive. • Booking and planning of accommodation and travel for event staff. • Issuing event details to photographers and staff members in advance of events taking place.
Qualifications and requirements:
Minimum of at least 1 year’s previous sales and dispatch experience. • Knowledge of accommodation and travel bookings. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Experience in using Microsoft 365 package. • Proactive and positive attitude. • Self motivated. • Able to work as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £28,000.00 per year
