Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioners to join our healthcare team to support across General Practice sessions (Monday to Friday) and Out of Hours / Extended Access sessions (evenings and weekends). The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care, demonstrating exceptional clinical skills and a thorough understanding of anatomy and medication administration. As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality healthcare services, diagnosing and treating patients, and promoting overall wellness.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, including physical examinations and health histories.
  • Develop and implement personalised care plans based on patient needs and medical history.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Educate patients and their families about health management, disease prevention, and medication usage.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Stay informed about advancements in medical practices, treatments, and technologies relevant to patient care.

Qualifications

  • NMC Registered
  • MSc / Level 7 / Post Graduate-level study
  • Non-Medical / Independent Prescribing (V300)

Are you an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner looking for a rewarding part-time role within a supportive and dynamic healthcare team?

We are excited to invite applications for a part-time, permanent ANP position (4 sessions per week) to join our thriving practice, providing care across two sites.

Mount Pleasant Practice is a patient-centred practice serving a growing and diverse community. We pride ourselves on innovation, collaboration, and maintaining a welcoming environment for both staff and patients. Our team consists of skilled GPs, nurses, and healthcare professionals committed to delivering excellent care.

Your Role

· Work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Pharmacists, and Nurses.

· Provide care and treatment to patients with long-term conditions or undiagnosed and undifferentiated diagnoses.

· Diagnose, manage, prescribe, and discharge patients with illness or injury across all age groups, including young children.

· Conduct consultations via face-to-face appointments, telephone, or video consultations.

· Operate as an autonomous practitioner, ensuring patients receive timely and effective care.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified and experienced ANP with independent prescribing rights.
  • Expertise in managing acute and chronic conditions in a primary care setting.
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
  • A commitment to patient-centred care and teamwork.
  • Desirable – confidence and experience in managing minor illness presentations in children from aged 6 months

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £22.00-£45.00 per hour
