Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioners to join our healthcare team to support across General Practice sessions (Monday to Friday) and Out of Hours / Extended Access sessions (evenings and weekends). The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care, demonstrating exceptional clinical skills and a thorough understanding of anatomy and medication administration. As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality healthcare services, diagnosing and treating patients, and promoting overall wellness.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, including physical examinations and health histories.
- Develop and implement personalised care plans based on patient needs and medical history.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Educate patients and their families about health management, disease prevention, and medication usage.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Stay informed about advancements in medical practices, treatments, and technologies relevant to patient care.
Qualifications
- NMC Registered
- MSc / Level 7 / Post Graduate-level study
- Non-Medical / Independent Prescribing (V300)
