Job Title: 1st Year Apprentice/Junior Hairdresser

McKenzie Hairdressing is excited to offer a full-time opportunity for a 1st year apprentice/junior to join our dynamic team. As an apprentice, you will receive comprehensive training both in-salon and one day a week at college (level 2&3), ensuring a solid foundation for your career in hairdressing.

We are seeking a young and enthusiastic individual with a genuine passion for hairdressing and excellent interpersonal skills. If you envision yourself thriving in a lively, supportive environment and are eager to pursue a rewarding career in the industry, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist senior stylists with various tasks, including shampooing, conditioning, and preparing clients for treatments.
• Learn and practice basic hairdressing techniques under the guidance of experienced professionals.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the salon environment.
• Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Demonstrate eagerness to learn and adapt to new techniques and trends in the hairdressing industry.

Requirements:

• Genuine passion for hairdressing and a desire to pursue a career in the industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
