Requirements for Arb Estimator

  • Proven experience in estimating and costing within tree work and vegetation management.
  • Strong operational understanding of arboriculture and vegetation management practices.
  • Ability to prepare accurate costings and quotes for schemes up to £1.5m.
  • Knowledge of national infrastructure and safety-critical project requirements.
  • IT literate, highly organised with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities of Arb Estimator

  • Ability to assess sites and determine works to be completed, evaluating access, machinery required, man hours etc.
  • Quoting on large-scale projects, including safety-critical national infrastructure schemes.
  • Working closely with the delivery teams to ensure quotes align with operational capabilities and client expectations.
  • Ensuring all estimates adhere to safety, environmental, and quality standards.
