Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with both hand and power tools. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient assembly and maintenance of mechanical systems within our warehouse environment.

Duties

  • Assemble mechanical components and systems according to specifications and technical drawings.
  • Operate various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assembly tasks.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance and identify any necessary repairs.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Document assembly processes and report any discrepancies or challenges encountered during production.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a mechanical technician role or similar position.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Experience working in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A keen attention to detail, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the assembly process.
