McManus Pubs is a family owned pub business based in Northamptonshire. We’ve been running great pubs in the county and beyond since 1970 and have learned a few things along the way!

We currently run 18 sites in Northants, Buckinghamshire and Essex and have plans for further growth across the country.

We’re currently looking to strengthen our team at The Oakleigh in Leigh on Sea, a late night cocktail driven bar with live DJs and dancing.

We need an Assistant Manager who is hungry for development and looking to grow into their own site in the next 12 months.

Whilst we’re more focused on finding the right type of person for this role from a team fit and behavioural point of view, the ideal person would have the minimum below experience:

– Ideally you will have 2+ years experience as an AM or DM at a relevant venue. You should enjoy busy, high tempo environments and be comfortable in wet led, late night bars.

– You should feel comfortable and confident managing a shift with 10+ people and a venue which holds at least 300 people.

– You will be comfortable working with a small kitchen team and willing to get stuck in to help them when they are busy.

– Experience managing events, social media and marketing would be an extra positive for this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
