Job Summary
As an assistant to Kaz Langley, a Disability Rights Advocate, you will play a crucial role in promoting the welfare and rights of disabled people, as well as supporting her studies in MSc Disability Studies.
Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of administrative and organisational tasks that support Kaz. This position requires a passionate individual who is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of Disabled People.
Duties
- Conduct research on the rights issues and current legislation affecting animal welfare.
- Assist in the development and implementation of advocacy campaigns.
- Maintain accurate records relating to advocacy.
- Organise meetings and events and assist disabled individuals.
- Provide administrative support, including managing correspondence.
- Demonstrate excellent phone when liaising with others.
- Assist with financial record-keeping.
Requirements
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A genuine passion for disability rights and welfare is essential.
- Ability to work independently and alongside Kaz.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary to assist with MSc in Disability Studies.
