Job Description

Knole Academy, located in the heart of Sevenoaks, is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Assistant to the SENCo to join our vibrant Additional Educational Needs department. This is a dynamic and rewarding role, perfect for someone who thrives in a busy environment and is eager to make a difference in the lives of our students.

In this key position, you will:

•Line manage Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) and coordinate their timetables.

•Oversee targeted interventions and ensure Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) are kept up to date.

•Build strong relationships with parents, students, teaching staff, and external agencies.

•Support the transition of vulnerable students as they join the academy.

This is an administrative support role, so Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is not required.

Salary: Grade 9 £32,933 – £37,188 (equivalent to £29,414 – £33,214 per annum pro-rated for term-time working plus 15 additional days).

Hours: 37 hours per week

(Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm; Friday: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm).

Term: 38 weeks term-time plus an additional three weeks.
