AUTO-BODY TECHNICIAN OR APPRENTICE

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and Licenced Auto Body Technician (or Apprentice) to join our team!

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and mechanical knowledge, with hands-on experience for all types of auto-body repair. This role involves diagnosing and repairing vehicle body damage, ensuring that all repairs meet industry standards for quality and safety.

Duties

• Inspect vehicles for structural damage and assess repair needs
• Perform body repairs using various techniques
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete repairs
• Replace or repair damaged panels, bumpers, and other components
• Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and applying primer
• Collaborate with other technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols
• Stay updated on the latest automotive repair techniques and technologies

Requirements

• Licensed as an Auto Body Technician or similar role (will accept Apprentices)
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively
• Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and other automotive equipment
• Experience working in a dealership or auto repair shop is preferred
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
