Overview
We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computer-aided design and drafting, with proficiency in the current AutoCAD software. This role is essential for translating conceptual designs into detailed drawings and schematics that meet project specifications. The successful applicant will work closely with engineers and architects to ensure accuracy and adherence to industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings for structural steelwork fabrication and GA drawings, using the current AutoCAD software
• Develop layouts for various projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications.
• Collaborate with project teams to understand design requirements and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers and architects, ensuring all modifications are accurately reflected.
• Maintain an organised library of drawings and documentation for easy access and reference.
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including specifications and reports.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in AutoCAD technologies to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years expereince in AutoCAD, in structural steel fabrication.
• Strong understanding of system design principles and the ability to create accurate engineering fabrication drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey design concepts and modifications.

Pay is subject to experience and qualifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £13.00-£17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
