Working Hours –

• Monday – Thursday: 07:00 to 16:00
• Friday: 07:00 – 11:00

Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Ball Production Operator to join our operations team. This role is essential for the production of high-quality ball products, utilising grinding and lapping machines. The ideal candidate will prioritise compliance with health and safety policies while maintaining excellent record-keeping and striving for continuous improvement within the production area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Understand and implement basic operating and setting procedures for all machines in the ball production area.
• Ensure safe and efficient loading and unloading of jobs, with a focus on reducing setup times and minimising scrap.
• Manufacture balls according to specified requirements, optimising efficiency and output.
• Accurately record measurements and document any issues affecting product quality and run time efficiency.
• Collaborate effectively with the team to maintain proper setup procedures, machining sequences, and dimensions that meet customer specifications.
• Adhere to all company policies regarding stock control, health and safety, and completion of necessary paperwork.
• Maintain cleanliness of grinding and lapping machines as well as surrounding work areas during downtime.
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic in-house repairs on machinery in the ball production area.
• Undertake additional duties as required.
