McCarthy Stone are recruiting a professional Relief Care Supervisor to join our team at our prestigious Magpie Court development in Hanham, Bristol.

Built in 2019, Magpie Court is a Retirement Living Plus development that consists of 53 apartments with the over 70’s in mind, providing excellent on-site facilities and set within beautiful grounds. This is not traditional care, this is better!

Hourly rate: £15.00 per hour days and £12.24 SLEEPING night rate. Plus an additional £1 extra for every hour worked from midnight on Fridays to midnight on Sundays.

Hours: To cover shifts on an ‘as and when’ basis when required, to be discussed with the development Manager.

Our day shifts vary between 08:45 and 16:30 or between 16:15 to 09:30.

Our night shifts are from 21:30 to 09:00am

Our Relief Care Supervisors sleepbetween 23:00pm and 07:00am providing emergency support only to our homeowners throughout that period.

• Keen to take on the responsibility of managing the security of the development, looking after the safety and wellbeing of the homeowners, and overseeing the Care and Support teams.
• Able to co-ordinate and facilitate activities that help strengthen the community spirit within the development.
• Driven to continue to grow their skills and will want to lead by example and think on their feet.
• Able to make a difference to the wellbeing and happiness of older people.
