Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and friendly Server to join our team at The old lane in Chippenham. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction. Your main duties will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced restaurant environment, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:
– Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
– Present menus to guests and answer any questions regarding menu items
– Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests
– Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure prompt delivery of food
– Serve food and beverages to guests with professionalism and attention to detail
– Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
– Clear tables and clean dining area after guests have finished their meals
– Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed
– Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications:
– Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required
– Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide personalized attention to guests
– Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
– Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
– Knowledge of food safety regulations is a plus
