Bar Manager – Weekends

Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Bar Manager to join our team. As a Bar Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bar, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of quality in all aspects of the bar. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive bartending and restaurant experience, and a passion for delivering an outstanding hospitality experience. You’ll be expected to work a minimum 20 hours per week especially weekends or 41 hours a week full time.

Duties:

– Manage and supervise all aspects of the bar operations, including bartending, food preparation, and customer service

– Create and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests

– Train and develop bar staff on proper bartending techniques, customer service standards, and safety procedures

– Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed

– Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability

– Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations

– Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional manner

– Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations between the bar and the restaurant

– Oversee scheduling, staffing, and performance management of bar staff

Qualifications:

– Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role in a bar or restaurant setting is important

– Strong knowledge of bartending techniques, mixology, and beverage service

– Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

– Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences for guests

– Knowledge of food safety regulations and ability to ensure compliance

– Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: £14.00-£18.00 per hour
