Beauty and Hair Tutor -Part time

Do you have a passion for education with plenty of enthusiasm to develop and inspire the next generation? We have an opportunity for motivated individuals to join our team, teaching and assessing on a range of Beauty Therapy programmes.

We are looking for a Hair & Beauty tutor to work 2 days a week with our students in obtaining their level 2 qualifications.

We are looking to recruit tutor/ assessor who can teach/assess Level 2 & 3 qualifications in Beauty, Make-up and Hair in Birmingham.

The post holder will:

· Deliver and assess accredited Level 2 & 3 qualifications

· Manage progression, ILPs, reviews and e-portfolio/paper-based portfolio for their groups

Essential criteria

· MUST Hold the A1 Assessor Award/TAQA

· Must be Qualified Level 2 & 3 in Beauty, Make-up and Hair

· Experience and knowledge on Apprenticeship Standard Qualifications and End Point Assessment.

· Hold a PTLLS qualification or equivalent

· Minimum 2 years professional experience in the field

· Strong communication skills

Desirable criteria:

· Familiar with VTCT and FOCUS qualifications

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year teaching (Required)

• Beauty Qualification (Required)
• Hair Qualification (Required)

· Teaching Qualification (Required)

Job Types: Fixed term contract, Freelance
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: £100.00-£120.00 per day

Schedule:

• Weekend availability
