⭐️ Behaviour/SEMH Teaching Assistant ⭐️
Location: Bedford
Pay: £85-£95 per day (PAYE only)
DegreeSix are searching for an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant who’s well versed in challenging behaviour for a secondary specialist SEMH/Behaviour school in Bedford. This role is supporting pupil’s in different key stages who have statements of SEMH, more specifically behavioural challenges. This school are wanting resilient, experienced and compassionate teaching assistants to support students in re-engaging with education.
This is a full-time role from 8:30am-3:30pm but part time would be considered with a scope of going on to full time for the right person.
The Role:
- Working with children who need extra support with their academic and social skills
- Assessing situations to help tackle challenging behaviour
- Proving support 1:1
- Presenting feedback/student progress to class teacher and parents

To be successful:
- SEN experience is preferred in a school or similar setting
- Experience working with children
- Patience and passionate about supporting students with special needs
- Ability to work within a team and contribute positively
