Job Description

MfSF is a music charity looking for musicians in the area to join us and deliver instrumental tuition in primary schools.

You could be right for us if:

  • You love music and want to help children discover it too.
  • You can play a brass or woodwind instrument at around Grade 8 standard.
  • You already teach or would like to.
  • You would like to expand your instrumental skills and take advantage of a free professional development programme.
  • You would like part time flexible working hours.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience tutoring or working with children is preferred.
  • Strong educational background and knowledge in the subject area(s) being tutored.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the individual needs of each student.
  • Understanding of special education needs and strategies is a plus.
