Brass and Woodwind Music Tutor
Job Description
MfSF is a music charity looking for musicians in the area to join us and deliver instrumental tuition in primary schools.
You could be right for us if:
- You love music and want to help children discover it too.
- You can play a brass or woodwind instrument at around Grade 8 standard.
- You already teach or would like to.
- You would like to expand your instrumental skills and take advantage of a free professional development programme.
- You would like part time flexible working hours.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience tutoring or working with children is preferred.
- Strong educational background and knowledge in the subject area(s) being tutored.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the individual needs of each student.
- Understanding of special education needs and strategies is a plus.

Own transport essential. Tutors are self-employed and MfSF provide full administrative support and fee collection. All successful applicants will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £15.00-£30.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
