Job Description

Role: PCV Bus Shunter

We are looking for a number of PCV Shunter Driver for one of our client’s Bus Depot based in York.

You will be required to operate and drive around buses in and out of Depot..

Basic Duties:

• Drive the buses through the depot, across the streets and park as per parking plan
• Maintain Company standards and ensure that all records are maintained correctly
• To fully understand and comply with all company and statutory health & safety, and working practices.
• Any other duties as instructed by the Depot Management.

Requirements:

• Must be flexible and hard working
• A full UK Driving Licence is essential for this position. PCV license is required with Category D driving.

You will be working 4.30PM till 12.30AM (Monday to Sunday) working 5 to 6 days a week.

Rates of Pay: £13.15 – £14.00

Immediate start and paid weekly

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Temporary

Pay: £13.15-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 42 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekend availability

Experience:

• Driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• PCV licence (preferred)
• Driving Licence (preferred)
