Role Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Buyer to join our dynamic team. This role offers the perfect blend of buying, product research, and supplier management, with a focus on sourcing innovative products and managing relationships with suppliers and factories, particularly in China.
As part of the team, you’ll play a key role in driving product development, improving existing ranges, and ensuring efficient stock management to support the company’s ambitious goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and Manage Supplier Relationships: Build strong partnerships with existing and new suppliers, with a focus of working directly with factories in China.
- Product Research & Development: Identify new product opportunities through market and competitor analysis while enhancing existing ranges.Creating accurate product Spec sheets for our design and E-commerce team to design packaging and build listings.
- Negotiation & Procurement: Secure competitive pricing and favourable terms for new and existing products to maximise profitability.
- Quality Assurance: Review product samples and manufacturing test reports to ensure high-quality standards.
- Stock Management: Collaborate with the team to ensure optimal inventory levels and seamless procurement processes.
- Shipping Coordination: Liaise with suppliers and logistics partners to monitor shipment progress and address any delays.
- Customer Focus: Work with the customer service team to address product quality issues and improve the overall customer experience.
- Team Management – Work alongside and manage a buying assistant to ensure all reporting and ordering is completed on time.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a driven, solutions-focused individual who is excited to join a fast-paced, innovative environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in buying, sourcing, or product management within eCommerce or retail.
- Experience working with suppliers and factories in China.
- A passion for innovation and an eagerness to bring fresh ideas.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build strong supplier relationships.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise in a fast-moving environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with eCommerce platforms such as Amazon and eBay.
- Must be fluent in English

What We Offer
- Competitive Salary: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year, based on experience and skills.
- Quarterly Bonus Scheme: Up to 20% of salary based on performance.
- Generous Holiday Allowance: 30 days, including 8 bank holidays, plus 1 extra day for each year with us.
