What your Day might look like:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet organizational needs and budgetary requirements.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and delivery speed.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favourable pricing and payment terms.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and monitor supplier performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
  • Analyse and manage procurement budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and value improvement.
  • Develop product specifications after-market Analysation & stay updated with modern trends.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the timely acquisition of goods and services.
  • Monitor market trends and conditions to identify potential cost savings and supply chain efficiencies.
  • Lead and manage the procurement team to ensure timely and accurate procurement activities.
  • Ensure staff adherence to established processes and procedures.
  • Perform job specific tasks in compliance with applicable Regulations, International Standards, and company Policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Manage procedures and ISO management related to purchasing and quality control.
  • Return products for re-work if needed and complete documentation to confirm re-work
  • Forecast procurement needs and plan purchases accordingly.
  • Work closely with other departments such as production, logistics, and finance to ensure alignment of procurement activities with company goals.

About you:
  • Proven experience as a Buying/Sourcing Manager or in a similar role within the industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of supply chain management and procurement processes.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
