Who are we?

Meridian Motor Vehicles Limited is a family owned business based in Louth, Lincolnshire. We have a forecourt of approximately 65 used cars and vans. We have been established for nearly two years now and are a team of 4 people. We sell everything from £3,000 – £40,000 cars!

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a motivated and organised individual who will be responsible for ensuring all new cars are presented in a clean condition and keeping on top of the forecourt and any cars going out to their new customers.

You must have experience in the detailing and valeting of cars either in a previous role or as a hobby. Extra training can be provided!

Responsibilities

• Completing a condition report of every car when it arrives, documenting what needs doing to bring it up to forecourt standards
• Valeting the vehicle to a high standard ready for photos. This may include Wet Vac, Machine Polishing and Small paint touch ups.
• Monitor supply levels and keep a clean and tidy working environment
• Ensure the forecourt is well presented and complete pitch washes when required
• Assist with any tasks as directed by management
• Managing your own diary – Ensuring all cars are ready for scheduled handovers

Experience and Requirements

• Experience in a similar role or experience detailing cars as a hobby is preferred but not essential . You will be around cars all day so a passion for them and the motor trade certainly helps!
• A valid driving licence is essential to this role.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £9.00-£12.21 per hour
