Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality finishes. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets our high standards of quality. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
  • Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
  • Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organised during and after painting tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to understand project requirements.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working with hazardous materials.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
  • Drive to various job sites as required to complete painting projects.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in painting or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • A valid driver’s licence is desirable for travel to job sites.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality work.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Knowledge of different types of paints and finishes is an advantage.
