Position: Prepper/Polisher
Location: Stoke-On-Trent
Employment Type: Full-time

We are working with a well-established and reputable automotive repair and refinishing company in Stoke-On-Trent.

The Role:
As a Prepper/Polisher, you will play a critical role in the vehicle refinishing process, ensuring that all vehicles are prepared and polished to the highest standard before delivery to the customer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and a passion for automotive work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing vehicle surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming.
• Inspecting vehicles for imperfections and ensuring surfaces are flawless before paint application.
• Polishing painted surfaces to a high gloss finish, removing minor imperfections or swirl marks.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Collaborating with the paint team to meet project deadlines.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a prepper/polisher role or similar within the automotive industry is ESSENTIAL.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Familiarity with tools and techniques used in surface preparation and polishing.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
