Night Care Assistant (Bank Role)
Location: Garforth
Pay Rate: £12.00 per hour
Employment Type: Bank Position (Flexible Nights)
Are you a caring and reliable individual with experience in providing care? We’re looking for a Night Care Assistant to join our team on a flexible, bank basis. This role is essential in ensuring our residents receive top-quality, person-centred care during night hours in a safe and comfortable setting.
About the Role:
As a Night Care Assistant, you’ll deliver compassionate support tailored to the unique needs of each resident. You’ll play a key role in promoting their well-being and comfort throughout the night, working shifts typically from 9 pm to 8 am.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting residents with personal care activities such as bathing, grooming, and oral hygiene.
- Supporting hydration and nutritional needs during the night.
- Assisting with mobility and ensuring proper positioning for comfort.
- Administering medications as per individual care plans.
- Keeping accurate and up-to-date care records and documentation.
- Providing respectful and dignified end-of-life care where necessary.
- Helping residents prepare for a restful night and offering emotional support.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a care home or similar setting.
Requirements:
- A full enhanced DBS check (we will arrange and cover the cost).
