McCarthy Stone are recruiting a professional Care Supervisor to join our team at our prestigious Kingfisher Court development in Taunton, Somerset.

This is a fixed term contract for 9 months.

Hourly rate: £14.51 per hour day shifts and £12.24 per hour sleeping night rate, plus receive an extra £1 for every hour worked from midnight Friday to midnight Sunday.

Hours: 33.25 per week (A mix of days and sleeping night shifts)

Our day shifts vary between 08:45 and 16:30 or between 16:15 to 09:30.

Our night shifts are from 21:30 to 09:00am

Our Care Supervisors sleep between 23:00pm and 07:00am providing emergency support only to our homeowners throughout that period.

Built in 2022, Kingfisher Court is a Retirement Living Plus development that consists of 62 apartments with the over 70’s in mind, providing excellent on-site facilities and set within beautiful grounds.

We are seeking a professional Care Supervisor to exemplify the high-quality customer standards that we are renowned for. About you:

· You will be a warm, friendly, organised, and self-motivated individual with experience of working in a care or support environment and excellent care skills.

· You will want to work in the Health and Social care sector and preferably have a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 3 qualification, although consideration will be given to a candidate with an alternative qualifications and relevant experience.

· Keen to take on the responsibility of managing the security of the development, looking after the safety and wellbeing of the homeowners, and overseeing the Care and Support teams.

· Able to co-ordinate and facilitate activities that help strengthen the community spirit within the development.

· Driven to continue to grow their skills and will want to lead by example and think on their feet.

· Able to make a difference to the wellbeing and happiness of older people.
