Job Summary

Contract: Full time 38 hours per week, permanent

Metroline Manchester are looking for an organised and detail-oriented CCTV Analyst to join our team. As you join the SHEQ Team you will report directly to the Transport Safety Business Partner and you will be responsible for processing and analysing CCTV footage across our four depots. You will be ensuring that all requests for footage are handled efficiently and in compliance with legal requirements. This role is integral to our operations, supporting incident investigations and collaborating with various stakeholders including law enforcement, internal departments and TfGM.
- Download CCTV footage and store it securely on a storage drive. Create CD/DVD copies of footage when required.
- Record all hard drive retrievals and image downloads meticulously, maintaining detailed logs for auditing and compliance purposes.
- Adhere to all relevant data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), ensuring the secure handling, storage, and sharing of CCTV footage.
- Regularly report on the status of the CCTV systems, highlighting any issues or areas for improvement.
- Liaise with manufacturers to ensure that the latest technology is used in our CCTV systems, staying current with industry advancements.

Essential Criteria
- Previous experience in a CCTV analysis or related role is preferred, particularly within a transport or security environment
- Proficient in the use of CCTV systems and software, with experience in downloading, archiving, and copying footage
- Excellent written and spoken English with the ability to communicate clearly and at all levels.
- Excellent attention for detail.
- Ability to operate as a team player
Hours of Work
38 hours per week, permanent full time contract
Flexibility required for hours/days worked in line with operational requirements.
