Job Description

Children’s Senior Support Worker required for a Fabulous 3x Bedded EBD home in New Brighton (CH45). This will mean the young people display challenging behaviours, attachment disorders, past trauma, ADHD and mental health challenges.

The company is a non – profit run organisation which prioritises the outcomes for the young people and regularly takes the young people on international trips.

You would have a fabulous staff team to be able to work with and there will be progression opportunities.

This position is perfect for someone who is looking to make a real & meaningful difference in the lives of children & young people who have experienced trauma and abuse.

✅ £14.85 per hour (160 hours per month)

✅ £60 per sleep in

The role as Children’s Senior Support Worker involves:

⚡ Organising and accompanying the young people on social activities and appointments

⚡ Recording the young person’s activity & reporting key aspects of their care

⚡ Promoting the young person’s independence and developing their life skills

The ideal Children’s Senior Support Worker Candidate will have:

Children’s Residential Senior Support Worker for a Fabulous 2x bedded EBD home in Accrington – possibility to earn up to £37,248!

The company is massively child centred and even takes the young people on international trips. The staff team are a joy to work with and there is lots of support in place from a strong management team.

The placements of young people that the company offer a home to are on 1:1 basis.

This position is perfect for someone who is looking to make a real & meaningful difference in the lives of children & young people who have experienced trauma and abuse.

In return for your hard work and dedication, you will receive:

⚡ Excellent rate of pay – £37,248

⚡ Average of 10 shifts and 10 sleep in per month contracted – 160 hours per month

2 days on 4 days off shift pattern but flexible to change

33 days annual leave!

Double pay on bank holidays

The company already has 2 successfully running homes and is now in the process to build the staff team for the 3rd home.

The children’s home has two young boys aged 15. One of the young people is on 1:1 staffing ratio and is in full time education and the other boy is a new referral who is on a 2:1 staffing ratio.

⚡ Building relationships and trust with young people

⚡ Recording the young person’s activity & reporting key aspects of their care to ensure the highest standard is always achieved

⚡ Promoting the young person’s independence and growth, developing their life skills and opportunities

⚡ A passion for working with young people and the ability to complete necessary OFSTED related paperwork
