Class 2 Multi Drop Driver (Term-Time Only)

At Dunsters Farm, we’re offering just that. We’re seeking Class 2 Multi-Drop Drivers to join our Bury team, working term-time only – giving you the flexibility to balance work with family or other commitments.
You’ll be working on a term-time, permanent basis, on a 5 day Mon-Fri shift pattern, contracted to 40hrs per week, with start times between 04:00 and 06:00. This role will require flexibility on your working week as some days will be longer than others.

As a Class 2 Term Time Driver, you’ll receive:

• Annual salary: £25,319.00
• Bonus: Up to £2,250 per year

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Work as a part of the team delivering products to customer premises on a multidrop basis – an average of 12 drops per day.

· Once you’ve completed your induction, you will have a multi-drop route of your own, enabling you to build a strong rapport with customers.

• Maintain accurate driving/working time records using the Tdi system and manual entries to record all working hours as required by the WTD regulations
• Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner
• Ensure all products are checked off the vehicle and the customer receive the correct products and delivery documentation
• Keep customers informed of their estimated time of delivery and where issues occur communicate with them in a polite and courteous manner

What does "term time only" mean?

You will only be required to be on shift for 39 weeks per year (school term time), for the other 13 weeks (school holidays) you will not be required to work, however you will be paid pro rata, meaning you still get paid monthly throughout the year, regardless of whether you are on shift or not.

What were looking for:

• Previous experience in multidrop, deliveries preferable but not essential.

· A positive, proactive attitude – it’s a physical job that keeps you on the go

· A full UK driving licence with category Class 2 Entitlement, new passes welcome.

• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements)
• An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph
• Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal
• Willingness to undertake pre-employment Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS Check)
• Be prepared to commute to Bury (BL9 7BR) for the required shift pattern.
