Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various commercial settings, ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will possess experience in commercial cleaning and have a strong work ethic, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

• Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stored correctly.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
• Follow established cleaning protocols and health and safety regulations.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties, including lifting and moving equipment as necessary.
• A positive attitude and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.50-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week

• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
• Commercial cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
• janitorial: 1 year (preferred)
