Job Opportunity: Part Time Cleaning Operative

Shift: 5:30pm – 8:00pm, Monday to Friday (12.5 hours per week)

Rate: £12 per hour

Anticipated start date – Mid-End January 2025

Monitor Cleaning Services is seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our team. If you are friendly, self-motivated, hardworking, and reliable, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

– Dusting, damp wiping, or washing walls, skirting boards, handrails, ledges, window sills, radiators, lifts, doors, and frames.

– Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops.

– Mopping floors with wet or damp mops.

– Hoovering carpeted areas.

– Emptying waste bins and transporting waste to designated collection points.

– Mixing cleaning supplies in correct quantities for safe use.

– Replenishing consumables such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels.

– Cleaning toilets, urinals, hand basins, and sinks.

– Cleaning communal kitchen areas.

Personal Skills:

– Hardworking and self-motivated

– Reliable with a positive attitude

– Friendly and customer-focused

– Knowledge of cleaning substances and techniques (preferred)

– Ability to work independently and follow a schedule

– Good timekeeping and personal presentation

– Strong understanding of Health and Safety requirements for safe working practices
