Job Description
Denham Grove Hotel and Hunton Park Hotel are looking for a skilled and ambitious Business Development Manager (Corporate Sales) to join our team. You will play a pivotal role by devising and executing corporate sales strategies, fostering client relationships, and achieving revenue goals.
The role of the Business Development Manager (Corporate Sales) will be focused on proactively sourcing new opportunities and building on existing relationships for the Hotels , re-creating awareness and growing new corporate streams of revenue within the Corporate/MICE sectors of our business. Focusing on local direct business that will drive Meeting & Events Business sector.
The person:
Hospitality pro-active sales background of no less than 18 months
Experience in Manager owner relationships as well as management company relationships to help both their performance and the business’s performance.
Friendly outgoing personality that people want to buy from enabling individual to nurture and grow relationships.
Practiced knowledge in the local area, with an understanding of the hotel sales journey with strong communication and presentation skills and a likeable personality.
Understanding of key account development – operating a 360 approach to each and every opportunity.
Excellent negotiation, influencing and account management skills.
Time management and organizational abilities
Able to manage different stakeholders in General Manager demands, CWH demands and Owner demands.
Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager (Corporate Sales) :
You will work closely with the General Managers of both properties and Countrywide Hotels Sales in creating and delivering new sales opportunities through face to face meetings and presentations.
Research, develop and gain new business from local area then develop these new relationships to become key clients.
Be responsible for all local business levels focusing on direct business of any description building on local knowledge and relationships forged.
Active involvement in local business groups such as Chamber of Commerce to help develop the business through local networking always spending valuable time on what will deliver revenues.
Demonstrating a seamless line of communication with the internal team to ensure we are achieving the optimum level of sales and conversion in line with the budget.
Grow market share from existing accounts through effective account management and developing relationships.
Understand local market and what business is going into competitor hotels.
