We are now recruiting for an experienced CNC/Saw Operator to join our ever-growing team.

Duties will include but not limited to: Operating CNC/ saw using optimised cutting sheets for aluminium profiles. Working to tight deadlines with the ability to work as part of a team or alone, organised and methodical with good communication skills.

Previous experience required: Minimum 2 years’ experience, ideally aluminium or UPVC profile, manufacturing machine operation or engineering experience.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machines, to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files to understand part requirements.
  • Set up tooling and fixtures for machining processes, ensuring proper alignment and calibration.
  • Conduct regular maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Utilise hand tools for assembly tasks as required during the production process.
  • Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
  • Handle materials safely, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues related to machinery or production processes.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery operations.
  • Familiarity with CAD software, for interpreting designs and creating machining programmes.
  • Experience with logic controllers and tooling setups is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in materials handling techniques within a warehouse setting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think logically under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 41.25 per week
