What do we want?

Due to growth within the business, we are searching for an experienced CNC Operator. The role will support a team of existing highly-skilled CNC Operators who are involved in all aspects of the manufacturing process including steel door and small component manufacturing and profile bending.

Duties will include:

• Set up and operate the CNC machines
• Utilise Trumpf punch and press machinery
• Operate machines to required quality standards and in accordance with set procedures, drawings and specifications
• Performing correct set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories
• Setting tolerance levels and cutting speeds
• Carry out routine maintenance on machines to ensure they operate efficiently and safely
• Collaborate closely with colleagues for smooth department operations
• Ensure a smooth and on time delivery of components to various departments in order to meet agreed targets
• Keep paperwork and records accurate and up-to-date

Who do we need?

• Previous experience as a CNC Operator is a must
• Competent IT user and proficient with reading detailed alpha numerical information
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proactive
• Able to work on own initiative and follow instructions when given
• Proven problem-solver who is keen to go the extra mile to ensure targets are met
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexible
• FLT licence (valid)

• Competitive basic salary (£28,000 increasing to £32,000 after 12-months)

• 24 days annual leave (increasing by one day with every year of service, up to a maximum of 28 days)
