Job Description

We’re hiring for a CNC Turner to join a well-established manufacturer that supplies precision-engineered components from their site based in Crewe.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of safety-critical parts using state-of-the-art equipment, with a company that values quality and precision in everything they do.

What’s on offer?

  • £16.00 – £18.00 per hour
  • Monday –Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm (early finish on Fridays)
  • Overtime available (paid at enhanced rate
  • 21 days holiday (plus bank holidays)

What will you be doing as a CNC Turner?

  • Setting and operating 2-axis CNC machines with Fanuc controls
  • Manufacturing parts ranging from 10mm to 400mm, including grinders at 25mm
  • Working with materials such as mild/stainless steel, brass, copper, and plastics
  • Producing safety-critical equipment such as brake pads, to tight tolerances
  • Reading technical drawings and ensuring components meet required specifications

What do you need?

  • CNC Setter experience
  • Experience working to tight tolerances
  • Programming experience (desirable)
  • Familiarity with Fanuc controls (desirable)
  • Time-served apprenticeship in engineering (desirable)
