Do you have customer sales & service skills and experience working in the Commercial Vehicle Motor Trade. We’re looking for a Sales Representative to work in our Galashiels site.

Previous experience working in the Commercial Vehicle Motor Industry with knowledge of Commercial Vehicle Parts & Products is 100% necessary for this post. Please only apply if you have relevant knowledge and understanding.

We will also provide comprehensive training in our company cataloguing & systems.

• Responsibilities

.Present, promote & sell products and services to existing and prospective customers

.Establish, develop & maintain positive customer relations

.Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction

.Achieve agreed sales targets and outcomes within schedule

.Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments

.Analyse the market’s potential, track sales and status report

.Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems and interests in potential new products and services

.Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends

.Continuously improve through feedback

Essential skills

.Previous work experience as a sales representative

.Previous experience working within the Commercial Vehicle Motor Trade, knowledge of vehicle parts, fittings & a understanding of what they do is required

.Self motivated

.Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills

.Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills

.Relationship management skills and openness to feedback

The Company

Dingbro Ltd are a local family business who started trading in Fraserburgh in a small 1000sq ft unit in 1973. Dingbro Ltd (short for Dingwall Brothers) are now the largest independent motor factor in Scotland with over 1500 staff and a storage area exceeding 400,000 sq ft in 33 sites throughout Scotland and Northwest England.

We are strictly trade only suppliers to the motor trade, truck operators, plant operators, offshore industry, oil service companies, marine engineers, shipping & ship chandlers, emergency services, councils and local authorities.

We supply a wide range of products, from the original equipment component manufacturers, ranging from small Bosch repair parts for diesel & fuel injection to suspension air bags and brake drums for large lorries & cranes. Filters and batteries for deep sea oil tankers & cruise liners.

Stockholding within the company is in excess of £30 million, with over 300,000 part lines on our active stock list.

We have at least a daily delivery in all areas of Scotland & the North Of England & many areas enjoy hourly service.

We also service Orkney, Shetland, and the Western Isles by ferry.
