No experience is needed, though preferred, as full shadowing, training, and qualifications will be offered. A* full driving license, use of a vehicle, and KINDNESS are all that are required. *

  • Support with personal care
  • Nursing care (Catheter care and PEG feeds) – fully training provided
  • Ordering & collecting medication
  • Commode and continence care
  • Support people with dementia/Parkinsons and other common illnesses in aged people.
  • Persuading and encouraging people who lack capacity or motivation
  • Domestic duties/ bed changes
  • Meal preparation and cooking
  • Applying creams, skincare
  • Supporting people to make GP appointments, referrals, liaising with other health care professionals
  • Companionship, emotional support
  • Dignified end-of-life care – fully trained and supported
  • Please note our positions are mainly solo working and visiting people’s homes (with some colleague-accompanied).

Contracted Shifts: (45 to 63 contracted biweekly hours) [27 weekly avg]

  • Mon – 7am – 2pm
  • Tues – 7am – 2pm
  • Weds – OFF
  • Thurs – 2pm – 9pm
  • Fri – 2pm – 9pm
  • Sat – OFF
  • Sun – 2pm – 9pm

  • Sun – 7am – 9pm
  • £13.05per hour for all visit time
  • £2 per 10min waiting/ travelling time between appointments
  • 25p per mile travelled to cover petrol costs, (and can claim a further 20p for each mile from HMRC each year).
  • £18.75 Bank Holidays
  • £20ph Christmas Day
  • Cost of DBS will be reimbursed in the first pay

The desired candidate will have good time-keeping skills to work to a schedule, and be adaptable to a range of different needs and personalities, but overall be a happy and supportive person. Must be able to work independently, keep motivated, and maintain our excellent standard of care that they would be proud to deliver to their own parents.
