Are you passionate about making a positive difference to the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people whilst they are in hospital?

  • Do you want to make a positive difference working with children and young people in a hospital environment supporting them with their mental health and wellbeing?
  • Are you able to think creatively and tailor your approach based on need?
  • Do you have experience supporting people around their wellbeing and working in a multi-agency environment?

Bradford District and Craven Mind is looking for a Community Wellbeing Worker to support delivery of Hospital Buddies Service. The successful candidate will have experience supporting people around their mental health and wellbeing. A desirable candidate would have strong experience working with children, using outcome measures and working around complex cases in a multi-agency environment.

The role will be supporting children and young people in the acute trust, on site at Airedale General Hospital and Bradford Royal Infirmary. Support from Hospital Buddies is available seven days a week.
