The team at MSH Healthcare support individuals to live their life to the full in the Cumbria and Lancashire area and as a company, we understand without both exceptionally qualified and happy staff we cannot provide the best quality of care to our amazing clients.

The Client:

  • Spinal Cord Injury.
  • Requires full assistance with personal care and everyday activities.
  • Use of Ceiling Hoist & Electric wheelchair.
  • CPAP Machine overnight.

What we need from you:

  • Be caring, empathetic, compassionate and respectful.
  • A willingness to learn and develop your skills!
  • Be willing to have an enhanced DBS check completed.
  • You must be 18yrs old or older.
  • Spinal Cord Injury experience preferred but full nurse-led training given.
  • Flexibility to work days 08:00 – 20:00 or nights 20:00 – 08:00 (approx. shift times).
  • There will be a requirement for you to cover other Complex clients for sickness & holiday cover (you will be compensated for travelling to these clients).

Job Overview
Dean health care is hiring for support workers in Gloucester area to support a young man with additional needs.

This role would be 16 hours a week supporting out in the community and on activities. No personal care involved. We are looking for someone who wants to get stuck In and have fun, and enjoy days out with our service user. You also must be happy to be around cats as our service user has lots of house cats.

Duties

About you-

  • Preferably at east 12 months of relevant professional experience.
  • Willing to go DBS and reference checks
  • You have a sensitive and willing approach
  • Experience with learning disabilities preferred but not essential.
  • Physically able to undertake moving and handling requirements (training provided)
  • A confident and calming approach to challenging behaviour (training provided)
  • Willing to try new things.
  • A confident and capable communicator, with good written and spoken English.
  • Right to work in the UK.
