We are looking for a Compliance Coordinator to join our team. This position will be in charge of implementing and enforcing safety and compliance related issues. We are looking for someone who can effectively identify, report, and correct non-conformities.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Create, implement, update, verify, validate, and maintain SOPs and policies on SharePoint in order to comply with food safety programs
- Lead, coordinate, and spearhead certifications utilizing a complete portfolio specification approach
- Train employees based on training requirements for compliance and take corrective action(s) when required
- Verify/Validate training by conducting spot checks
- Conduct internal audits/inspections
- Follow up on non-conformities
- Initiate and manage CAPA / CAPA log and work on process amendment and tracing effectiveness of implementation
- Work on loss prevention and risk management issues when required
- Communicate and coordinate with internal and external teams and stakeholders
- Ensure premises, assets, and communications are used effectively
- Monitor daily operations and ensure implementation of best practices
- Contribute to business development by analyzing problems and proposing new solutions
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum one (1) year of working experience with HACCP and SQF in a food processing environment
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in safety and compliance
- Experience in leading internal and external third-party audits
- Ability to drive to other warehouse locations
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, SharePoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Understanding of the logistics/warehouse industry is an asset
- Success-oriented and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt
- Strong detail-orientation, analytical, and organizational skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and/or collaboratively
- Ability to take initiative and innovate

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
