Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Concrete Pump Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating concrete pumping equipment on various construction sites, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of concrete. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, as well as the ability to dig and prepare sites for pumping operations. The ideal candidate will possess commercial driving skills and have a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate concrete pump equipment to transport and pour concrete at construction sites.
• Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
• Prepare the site by digging and setting up necessary equipment for pumping operations.
• Communicate effectively with site supervisors, truck drivers, and other team members to coordinate activities.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during operations.
• Perform routine maintenance on pumping equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on-site.

Requirements

• Proven mechanical knowledge, with experience in operating heavy machinery preferred.
• Ability to dig and prepare sites effectively for concrete pumping operations.
• Valid commercial driving licence is essential; experience driving heavy vehicles is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Previous experience as a Concrete Pump Operator or in a similar role is desirable but not mandatory.

Pay: £26.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
