The ideal person will have:

  • At least 3 years experience working in the construction / fit out industry as a Contracts/ Projects Manager or in a related role
  • ​Demonstrate​ ability to successfully manage the delivery of a project/contract from inception
  • Demonstrate ability to work on own initiative
  • Demonstrate leadership/ management skills and commercial awareness
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

It would be desirable but not essential if the candidate had experience working in the marine fit out industry.

​

The role will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the contract
  • Managing client relationship
  • ​Prepare contract budget
  • Provide procurement schedule and overview procurement in conjunction with the Purchasing Department
  • Production of a realistic programme in conjunction with the Planning Department
  • Chair weekly project status review meeting
  • Allocation of manpower
  • Weekly reporting on project progress
  • Ensure effective travel and logistical arrangements in conjunction with the Logistics Department
  • Manage all Contractual variances in conjunction with the Commercial Department
  • Subcontractor management
  • Manage site installation
  • Adherence to company KPI targets
  • Responsibility for the overall Contract health and safety requirements
  • Provide leadership and direction to Assistant Contract Managers / Project employees
  • Working on projects in numerous locations throughout the world
