Job Description

The ideal person will have:
- At least 3 years experience working in the construction / fit out industry as a Contracts/ Projects Manager or in a related role
- Demonstrate ability to successfully manage the delivery of a project/contract from inception
- Demonstrate ability to work on own initiative
- Demonstrate leadership/ management skills and commercial awareness
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
It would be desirable but not essential if the candidate had experience working in the marine fit out industry.
The role will include, but will not be limited to:
- Overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the contract
- Managing client relationship
- Prepare contract budget
- Provide procurement schedule and overview procurement in conjunction with the Purchasing Department
- Production of a realistic programme in conjunction with the Planning Department
- Chair weekly project status review meeting
- Allocation of manpower
- Weekly reporting on project progress
- Ensure effective travel and logistical arrangements in conjunction with the Logistics Department
- Manage all Contractual variances in conjunction with the Commercial Department
- Subcontractor management
- Manage site installation
- Adherence to company KPI targets
- Responsibility for the overall Contract health and safety requirements
- Provide leadership and direction to Assistant Contract Managers / Project employees
- Working on projects in numerous locations throughout the world
